A sports enthusiast from an early age, I played a variety of competitive sports with basketball and football as my main focus. I continue to play basketball to this day at an elite level. I developed an interest in training at an early age and have been training people for well over thirty years. I have trained young kids through geriatric clients. These people participate at all levels from handi

capped through recreational players to professional athletes and bodybuilders. I train people in their homes, in gyms and outdoor settings. Perhaps my greatest asset as a trainer is my ability to adapt and modify a regimen to each individual client to help them meet their goals in a safe and controlled way. I have extensive training in all aspect of personal training and continue to attend seminars on a regular basis. I believe that fitness can be improved at virtually any age or level and will result in a better quality of life. Some clients benefit from being pushed and others require more nurturing. I work with each individual client to develop a starting point and then adapt the programs to insure that they are enjoyable, varied and that they move the client forward at a rate most comfortable for that client. Lastly, I believe that fitness encompasses more than exercise. I am willing and able to help clients examine their lifestyles and suggest changes to those who desire help with issues such as nutrition, flexibility etc. Experience has shown that addressing these areas can assist clients in achieving their goals.

It’s a snowy Friday! So be very careful shoveling snow and/or driving in the snow if you have to go out! Dress warm Stay hydrated and fueled! Do your shoveling in stages! Rest rehydrate and fuel up in between shoveling! Also treat your walkways with sand and/or rock salt!
Today is the day we’re FLEXING some before during and/or after our workouts! By now I hope we all know that FLEXING can help us to both increase strength and muscle growth according to some studies! We all need to get to FLEXING! What muscle groups are you working on today? I did Shoulders & Arms plus cardio at The Garage Personal Training Studio In Home in Ashburn Va! Using my knowledge and expertise as one of Total Fitness Look Personal Trainers I gave myself a very challenging safe workout! After my workout I had my post workout drinks and within thirty minutes my post workout meal! Are you on track with your workouts post workout drinks and meals nutrition cardio cardio rest and doing your recovery methods?
After we have done our workouts and finished our necessities it’s time to get a little FRISKY FREAKY! But only when it’s appropriate to get a little FRISKY FREAKY! It’s also time to raise are FUN Levels! Not only today but we should be raising our FUN levels everyday! I hope we all get to live out a FANTASY and/or more as often as possible! Let’s all have the most FANTASTIC and FABULOUS lives possible!

Do you lose motivation when the scale goes up?
Duh! Don’t we all?!
If you’re actively trying to lose weight and doing all the things you’re supposed to like eat better, exercise, cutting back calories, cutting back carbs…
You’d expect the scale to go DOWN.
I mean, you don’t need to be doing all those things to make it go up right? You can make the scale go up just fine without it, thank you very much.
It’s frustrating to work so hard and try your best only to get the opposite results.
And that’s when you have two choices: figure it out or quit.
And most people quit because they just don’t have the motivation needed, or know how to create it, to pick themselves up and try again.
(I mean if the scale is only going up, I might as well eat and enjoy it!)
But if quitting is NOT an option for you - because you really WANT this - I’d love to help you get the motivation you need to pick yourself back up and find the way to figure it out so you can back to making progress and crushing your goals.
Motivation is as simple as the story you tell yourself in your head.
And that subtle story can either make or break you.
For example, you could say:
“The scale went up because my body’s broken and it hates me.” - how motivating is that??
Or you could say:
“The scale went up, I must be missing something. Maybe I’m retaining water.”
If you had to choose, which story would be more motivating to you.
You see motivation is something you can create and use anytime because learning how to get and stay motivated is a skill.
And it’s a skill I’m teaching you how to build in my upcoming FREE workshop: How to Get and Stay Motivated to Lose Weight.
The scale is going to fluctuate, and you will face challenges on your journey.
I want to help you get motivated again so you can figure it out and NOT quit.
